Jo has provided PYHT as the employer will valuable assistance regarding day to day HR matters and also ably helped the Trustees and Staff through TUPE and redundancy processes. Jo has a calm, objective, orderly and knowledgeable approach to all matters presented to her. Jo attended a Trustees meeting and a Group Consultation meeting and also arranged for a representative to take notes at individual consultation meetings. The staff concerned were very appreciative of having an individual record of the meeting. She gave sound advice and direction to the Board and enabled PYHT to understand the legal and procedural aspects of TUPE and Redundancy and to understand possible risks that might arise and how the employer could mitigate against the risks.
Jo gave advice and guidance on conducting all the consultation meetings and liaised with the incoming employer regarding TUPE. Her support and help to me personally and her drafting of templates, forms and letters during the TUPE and redundancy processes was invaluable. Jo’s advice and guidance meant I was able to respond to queries and high emotions in an objective and ordered way which kept the emotional climate under control at a very difficult time for the organisation. Jo always responds to queries and points of clarification in a timely fashion and has been available for consultation at short notice. Jo’s knowledge and approach enabled PYHT to respond to situations and mitigate against the risks of possible complaints/grievances arising out of TUPE and Redundancy.
